R8 System
Creative Solutions with a System
The R8 System stands out from the multitude of aluminium profile products for exhibitions or interior projects. We attach great importance to an innovative system technology - above all as regards to a reliable and robust locking method. Compatibilty with the other Meroform modular systems adds to the range of design options.
Framegirder
To enable the realization of architecturally demanding solutions, the R8 System is equipped with a wide range of accessories. For example, the R8 framegirder always provides visually exciting solutions to product presentations.
R8 Plus: The Squaring of the Circle
Three new profile cross-sections (round, oval, square) with enlarged diameter and interchangeable decoration/functional profiles are the core of R8 Plus.
By doubling the outside diameter of our R8 supporting profile to 80mm you receive a better guiding of the lateral frames and a higher stability. At the same time the visual effect of the structure is totally changed Investments in different supports and special frames are not necessary, since the fixing catches built into the lateral frames fit into the grooves of the interior cores of the new supports. Thus, system axial dimensions remain the same and frames, stiffening panels, exhibition doors and almost all accessories already available on stock can be used.
A further advantage for the user: The R8 Plus support profiles are compatible with the standard R8 System material or comparable aluminium profile systems.This means that you can now update visually and functionally your existing stock material of aluminium profiles with R8 Plus support profiles.
The profiles
Your advantages:
- Compatible with the classic R8 System Profiles (and compatible aluminium profile systems), uses the same system measurements.
- Stock material from R8 (or compatible systems) can be used, e.g. horizontal frames and accessories.
Robust connection method allows wall spans up to six metres. - The channels of the support profiles accept standard panels (3 or 4mm). In addition, 16mm panes fit directly into the system outer channels.
Cladding
Play with the contrast of sharp metallic outlines and soft textile materials.
Along with sheet materials that fit into the support channels, height adjustable cladding connectors locate in the supports and provide an alternative method for fixing cladding materials.
Glass and other panel materials can be fixed in front of the system structure by means of stainless steel 'spider' connectors.
Decorative fabric cladding can be connected to the supports and tensioned by bracing profiles.
Ceiling and Light
Communication areas, such as trade shows or showrooms, provide their special atmosphere by being screened from the surrounding areas.
Use elegant punched Framegirders or Frames from the standard R8 System range to create effective ceiling structures.
Devise atmospheric lighting solutions with light track accessories.
Even single layer ceilings using R8 Plus Cubic Frame Profiles are now an exciting possibility.
Shelves
A range of functional and stylish shelving brackets will compliment your product presentation.
Elegant shelving brackets may be fixed either to the Supporting Profile or directly to the wall panel. Also custom designed brackets can be provided to suit your specific requirements.
